This survey is about trying to find ways to improve patients’ experience of cancer care.
We are conducting this research as part of All.Can, an initiative set up to tackle inefficiency in cancer care — where we define ‘inefficient’ as any aspect of cancer care that is not focused on what matters to patients.
Inefficiency doesn’t just mean wasting money. It includes lost time, cancelled appointments, and unnecessary stress for patients and their families, as well as medical staff. Improving efficiency is a means of focusing resources on what matters to patients.
The survey is being conducted in 10 countries, including the UK where it is being piloted. By filling in our questionnaire you will be contributing to compelling evidence that will inform our conversations with policymakers with a view to creating meaningful change in cancer care. Our findings will also be published and disseminated at major oncology and patient advocacy conferences, and potentially via other channels.
By completing this questionnaire, you are giving your consent for the information you provide to be
used for the above purpose.
The information is being collected for All.Can by Quality Health, an experienced
survey provider based in the UK, which is where the data will be stored in line with all relevant UK and European laws.

of your information, and will not be allowed to use your details for any other purpose. Your personal information
will not be released unless required by law or where there is a clear overriding public interest.

) is an international multi-stakeholder initiative set up to
identify ways we can optimise the efficiency of cancer care by focusing on improving outcomes for patients.
All.Can recognises that often, patients’ experiences are not as good as they could be, because time and resources
are not used as efficiently as they could be – and are not focused on what really matters to patients.
We believe that patients’ unique perspective can help to identify such problems. Their insights can then help
to shape improvements in how care is delivered, now and in the future.
All.Can comprises leading European and national-level representatives from patient organisations, policymakers, healthcare professionals, research and industry. (For more information, see here ).
The All.Can initiative is made possible with financial support from Bristol-Myers Squibb (main sponsor), Amgen, MSD and Johnson & Johnson (sponsors).
Quality Health ( www.quality-health.co.uk ) is a specialist health and social care survey organisation, working with public, private and voluntary sector organisations to understand and improve patients’ experience of their care and treatment.
If you have any questions or concerns about your current medical condition or any side-effects you may be experiencing from any treatment you are receiving, you should speak to your doctor.
